My son had two matching stuffed dinosaurs when he was little. He named on Arthur after Arthur Dent from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. That meant the other one had to be named Harvey, as in Harvey Dent from Batman aka Two Face.

Incredibly nerdy, but coming from me, that should be no surprise.

 

I saw a John Wayne movie once and his dog's name was dog so I named one of mine Dawg

 

Where it got real interesting was when the younger one`s Girl friend would be talking with his Father thinking it was her boy friend .

Discussing things you no doubt would hope your father might not find out for 20 years if ever.

 

Neighbor of mine has the same name for all her dogs. So she never has to buy new collars and stuff every time a dog dies. Lol

 

When a dog dies, that name is retired forever.

 

As it should be !!

Because no K-9 can ever be the same!

 

My brother and father in law are both Bruces, and little Bruce has a son named Hunter my nephew. So when that side of the family gets together youve got 4 men with two names.

 

Well USPS strikes again. I have had good luck getting things shipped but not this one.

 

My dad and brother have the same 1st name, I've never heard anyone call my brother by his first name, not even my parents, always his middle.

Our first born son got my dads name as his middle name. Which is also my middle name. All 3 of our kids names end with er. Wasn’t really planned but after the first 2 we had to stick with it.
When we were pregnant with our first we had a name before we found out boy or girl. Was a girl so kept the boy name for our second.

Strangest name I have seen lately was at the school my wife works at. Name is Samson. Dads name is Sam so it’s Sam’s son.

 

Same here with my oldest, he has the added benefit of his first name being his other grandfather's middle name.

 

Anymore this seems to almost be the normal so often

My local Post Office can not hire a employee to work the counter going on months now.

 

There's 3 post offices within 10-15 minutes of our new house depending which way you go, wife went to all 3 of them to get the form scanned so we could have our mail forwarded from our old address and none of them could do it, they don't have a computer to scan the form
