It's a fun one with a runway that feels like it's straight up the mountain. Can't imagine when they fly in there in the winter or weather.
Here's the actual approach in real life in a C172

North Cascades, I havent tried that one but I probably will. Quite the backstop on that one but the runway is pretty long.

Haha you say that but it was a bit sloppy to me. Kissed the wheels and over rotated a bit. Should've carried momentum to the top and not reverse thrusted and then reapply power. But yeah I think in reality it would've been a comfortable landing.

I took today off so I'll have some time to do some more. Hopefully you can get around to uploading some of your stuff.
    It is ;)

Honestly @Speedytech7 i wouldn’t be surprised if the a340 bell can bolt to the a750

Well that would really simplify things. Be nice to use an A750 with the VZ bell and then just find an FJ case. That would be a really stout setup me thinks.

It took me a little bit to wrap my head around but I set up a momentary button. So if I hold the button and throttle up it is reverse thrust. But if you leave the throttle like that and release the buttons it swaps back to full forward thrust :anonymous: made that mistake once. But it really is handy getting big planes into small spots. Or with the big jets, if you have enough runway you won't smoke the brakes as you barely need them.

That's where these detents come into play - my throttle has a 'soft' stop and you can set that to be 0% throttle, and anything behind that detent can be programmed as a reverse thrust.

The detents can be swapped out to either not be there at all, give you the tactile feel once you've reached it, or one that is high enough that it requires finger-lift activation

With as much stuff as you use, you really owe it to yourself to get a fully programmable setup; you would make better use of it than I would

People do rebuild them often; just toss them in the marketplace as free?

I threw several away as I couldn't even get people to take them.

Well on the A310 it's setup that 50% on my throttles is actually idle, less is reverse, forward is forward. But it is unique to that plane. I couldn't figure out to mimic that on other planes. It may be possible with your setup with your idle stop.

Sure a better setup would be nice. Better audio, better monitor and better controls but I just enjoy it as is. Maybe one day. I don't even use all the buttons on my sticks as it is now so more might not gain me anything other than feel.
