I was trying to break the habit! Gotta pass @4x4Runner in miles, and get to 25k and then 50k. Doesnt help that I like looking at the bike more (currently) than riding it

After hitting some trails & gravel roads yesterday I decided to give it a quick wash today. With just some soap & water my rear wheel once again has a mirror finish. Since I live 4.5 miles from the nearest paved road it won't take long for it to be dirty again.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Lol, sorry I didn’t respond to this. I have been moving stuff with the trailer all morning.
Yes, this is a good buy and I have the same one that I run when I am out on a hard enduro or scramble race.
Very nice piece of gear, you won’t be disappointed!

Rite rite. I had thought about the shirt/vest styles. But then think of cleaning them. I don’t feel like hand washing to get the funk out. Yes, pure lazy. Haha

I'm sure these super fancy bikes with electronics galore are nice, but other than FI, I'm fine with as simple as possible. Hell, I have never worn earplugs in my 39 years of riding

I like the chest protector concept better than the armored/padded shirts/vests. Seems to be more protective, easier to put on, more breathable.

Figure when it comes time to clean the chest protector, you can just blast it with a pressure washer without concern. not sure you could do the same for the armored clothing lol, at least without risking damaging it.

Agreed. I don’t see them going in the washer.

I was looking at the regular set ups, then came across the combo protector/backpack with added hydration. Kinda fits the bill for the most part. Just cannot wear it under a shirt, which is fine too.

Took the Harley out to work since it’s a nice day in Nashville. Might be time to wash it, I’ve had this bike just short of a year and have never cleaned it up. I figure rain is good enough.

Also anyone know why my rear tire might have a slow leak? I gotta air it up pretty much once a week, was never a problem before I got new tires. These are almost brand new. Do I need to do anything to seat the bead a bit better?

Personally I prefer the protector over the shirt lol. Rather bang up the chest protector first than tear through the shirt to get to it.

yeah the combo protector and incorporated backpack is a nice addition. I support

Rite rite. But you look sooooo much more cooler and pro-fessional with it under the shirt. Haha.

A 60+ year old guy that I know was out in Ohio, two weekends ago racing. I forget how he finished, but this is a small vid of the A, AA, and other riders. He himself is not in the video. Plus, the course he was on was a lot tighter than what you see in the vid.

Kinda makes me wanna try a Hare Scramble.

I have the same one as a backup. I had to buy it to last a few days until my Suomy showed up.
