What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

That’s what I did first…

Installed a four way auto switch

 

Picked up a rear dif skid from RCI. Install was cake.

 

Installed the Sony XAV AX6000 head unit from Trail Grid Pro. After an initial hiccup with the harness sent, the install was a snap. I can say this, Trail Grid Pro’s support was on point.

Mounted some Runnin4Taco Maxtrax mounts on my Front Runner load bars.

It wasn't a perfect fit and had to do some mods to get my boards to sit straight but it's good now.

 

Where did you pick that up, and is it a simple plug and play?

The wrong harness was sent initially. They sent a new harness pretty quickly which wasn’t difficult to attach. They were super responsive via email. Made it right quickly.

 

Did you install it ? Was gonna recommend grounding the eBrake wire

 

Yep, installed.

 

Well pull it out and ground that wire so you can access full control while driving

Appreciate the info. Not sure which wire from the provided harness nor how to tie it into the ebrake wire. Didn’t see that in the install vid.

 

It was like pressing the 'EASY' button.
