I thought you had already had these v-bands machined? Your lapping job looks nice though

    :hattip: thanks.
everything was done except this Vband and each end of the crossover.
It's been quite the annoying little leak and extra insulting since that's the same spot the DT Headers were leaking.
Hopefully I won't have to hear it anymore and I might even get more that 15mpg

I am going to flush it again before I put my new parts on. Tundra brakes with extended front and rear lines. Of course I will be using @turbodb kit that I've had forever.

It's recommended to regularly flush and replace your brake fluid due to it being Hygroscopic. The moisture in the fluid can cause problems over time.
IIRC they recommend to flush your brake system every 2 years or 30K miles. It's not an absolute, but a good idea depending on your geographical location.

Jealous of the grinder setup! Every time I'm switching wheels back and forth I'm tempted to run and buy another grinder... idk why such a small inconvenience drives me so crazy...

I have 3 and it's def the minimum number for fabricating. Ideally I'd like to add a 4th battery one into the mix. 3 usually are cut off, flap and wire wheel but a 4th for a grinding disc would be nice.

3 is a good number but I agree I could add a fourth for wire wheeling. Two of mine are setup with flap discs, one coarse one fine. The other is a cutoff. I can't remember the last time a grinding disc was ever useful though, I don't think I've ever bought one haha.

Literally only for rough cutting a inner radius after doing a ton of relief cuts is usually where I use it haha
