Good morning, friends. I stayed home today, woke up with a scratchy throat, stuffy head and drained of energy. It's allergy season again.

 

Another doctors visit story.

BP has been going up the last few years, last year was 138/84
Doctor had put me on hypertension pulls 2 years ago.

This year, after I announced my retirement, my BP is 110/70

Ah yes, you took a massive organic dose of DGAF! I hear it works wonders for many ailments.

 

THIS!!! I start the night before, since most of mine have to be fasting, so I can "trick" myself into not being hungry by filling up with water.

I'm allergic to needles in someone else's hand. I'm insulin dependent, and can stick a needle in myself no problem. But someone else comes along, I go all ghostly too.

I had to have that scoping procedure. I show up, 3 different nurses try to get the IV going. "Can't I just be awake?? Knowing you are going to be probing me like an alien scientist is less traumatic then another one of you trying for a vein." Senior lady #4 got it first try. But after the procedure, the top of my foot really hurt. I'm pretty sure they moved from my hand to my foot after they put me out. I m thankful I now wear a CGM. Reduces my need for blood work to once a year instead of 4x.

 

Looks like Weesa is taking your advice, and a significant dosage of DGAF

I also use this miracle "drug" quite often. That, along with my nightly cigar therapy session on the front porch. At least I can keep the stress and BS at bay for 90 minutes every day

I'm interested in the specs of that trailer your towning. I'd love more info on it.

 

It's a DIY fab heavy duty box trailer built by a friend here, the box measures 4' wide x 5' long and has a single shelf on rollers inside. It's built with a 2x2 square tube frame with 10ga sheet metal for the skin sitting on a 3500# axle with brakes. It originally was meant to have a RTT on a rack, but I removed the cross bars and added some ramp pads for the ramps to fit the ATV on top instead. It's very heavy at about 1100# empty. With the ATV on it looks like it would be unstable, but with the base weight it's actually very stable all the way up to 80mph. On that trip it was 2200# loaded, the ATV is 700# of that. It did pretty good on some off camber situations due to rock slides in the mountains of Idaho. I need to add a wheel to the tongue stand because it's about 270# loaded and nearly impossible to lift and move by hand even when it's empty.

 

The week's done. Time to lock into the inversion table and stretch out the kinks.
