HaHaha that reminds me of the time I was going across the Ohio turnpike and pull into the Cyahoga travel plaza to remove ice on wipers and got DOTed in the snow storm. Guy must've pissed someone off, he even had a crawler out and used it.

 

Looks good even with that god awful front end.

 

I don't mind the front end. Interior is just like all the other Lone Stars we have

 

I loved that bridge with the sweeping turn in the middle when things were snow covered.

 

Auto strike is effecting us. 9 hours yesterday 7.5 today, but I'll take the short days.

Class B Ohio License holder since 1990 - Every endorsement except for School bus (I failed the test by one point but I generally dislike kids that my generation raised anyhow so there is that)

Drove bus for my job in College. (was the best paying job back in the early 90s on campus plus they gave me a free CDL course. Drove all kinds of busses. I really REALLY enjoyed commercial driving and Transportation in general. I went into IT after trying out psychology after college. Pays well but that is really it. Also have a full 3 monitor computer with a force feedback wheel, pedals with a clutch (because of course that is best) and 18 speed shifter. For fun during Cleveland winters I actually drive trucks for fun (Virtually) online with others. I know this probably sounds insane to some of you but that is how much I enjoy it. Some sundays Ill drive 10 hours.. park at a rest stop.. go eat and get coffee. turn the radio back and get back to driving. (Virtually)

Dont really care for being an IT director but I cant beat the pay. At least I have risen to a rank where I am 2 places away from Users who also annoy the hell out of me.

There was a time before I bought my tacoma 2 weeks ago where I thought to myself. You know. A used peterbuilt costs less than a damn full size truck.. maybe I should get a damn peterbuilt? I could pull my camper with a peterbuilt and I could park at work too.

 

Well started my day with tractor problems, what a surprise. Brake lights stuck on and no power to the pigtail. Drive my tractor to repair and drop it off, picked up another drivers truck that just got a new turbo, old p.o.s. like mine. But I'm hooked back up and waiting to get into the dock to get my first load.
