Anyone have a 12V diesel heater they use and would recommend? New projects for winter camping and cold hunting season. I'll probably start with duel battery and feel better about running a heater off the secondary. Not looking to break the bank but I know the buy once cry once is always in effect. I've got a marine/Rv deep cycle battery, nothing fancy. Wanna keep it basic without a labyrinth of wiring, my wiring game sucks..

Ive got two more cats you can have as well...

Wife got em when we lived in an apartment without kids.

Now the toddler terrorizes them and they stay hidden.

Guys any plans for a group offroading trip? Also, what has been your favorite off-roading and at the same time good for camping location near the Phoenix area?

I'd love just a day trip on a weekend. I'd like to do the back way to Crown King to pop my AZ cherry. Also that trail seems tame enough my wife would enjoy it. She doesn't enjoy the hard stuff.

They're why we can't have nice things. I absolutely got fed up with sxs in Moab. Sat behind a group of fools on Poison Spider that were f'n around on an obstacle and wouldn't move to let us pass.

I'd take other trail recommendations also. I have the funtreks book to reference.

Taking the truck out off road for the time since I bought it. Just going on a Forest Service Road but will still be fun camping one nighter. Hope everyone has a good and safe upcoming weekend.

:( DUDE, I am dying to go with a group off-roading. I go alone, and I enjoy it, but it is not the same as going with a bunch of cool Taco dudes. Took my wife with me once and she hated the experience; I did not air it down, and I think that was the reason why she hated it LOL

I picked the Vevor as well, 5k, white high altitude (since most my cold camping is N. Rim, Mogollon Rim or SW ColoRADo)

Do you just use #2 diesel or do you stock up on a #1 winter blend or kerosene?
