Man down. I started out enjoying this and struggled to finish it. Has an acridity to it, almost a bitterness. Even with ice. But I’m not a quitter. Just a guy with bad jokes.

Hm I enjoyed that one last week. Maybe your cork was going bad or somehow got contaminated since it changed over time?

 

I got a really bad dose of COVID sometime after the first couple pours. My taste mostly returned but there are some high proofs I don’t like as much anymore. Cork smells fine.

I do remember trying to do some samples when I had covid or something similar. Tried a Woodford barrel pick and felt like my mouth and throat were on fire. Thankfully it all came back, hoping yours does too! I remember when you were thinking about blowing out your collection because of it. Glad you didn't
