What does IMGOBO mean? I'm gonna go buy it?

Yea okay that is what I was thinking..
It says: "Really nice Oak gun cabinet for $300. Holds 10 long guns, 2 storage draws. About 6 feet tall, 4 feet wide, 18 inches deep. Doors lock."

When he answers me back about the dimensions, I'll verify that it is solid oak.

Yea guy got back to me and it is a little over 6ft long so the gate would have to remain down..
It is also for sure 4 ft wide so I would have to probably use the 1x6 I have cut and maybe some sort of support between them?

I also need to find someone to ride with me down to fuquay to look at it/load it blahblah cause dude says he can't help do that..

I don't know a lot about moving stuffs so I'm winging it but the price is right and I want the item as long as it is solid oak.

Yes, crown (top) and bottom are typically removable. Crown typically just lifts off. Bottom typically has screws that join the two via a wooden rail and likely pegs. Crown sometimes has pegs also, if not just blocks. Looks good. Offer two fiddy and see?

Welp, I guess just 8 hours wasn’t in the cards. 12.5, and I didn’t finish. I could’ve, but I had a temp with me and he needed to get back to get paid. :annoyed:

For the weight you probably want 2x4 to support it. Do you have good tie downs? The rachet kind? Blankets/cushioning?

It can go on its side without supports if you have things you can put on the sides to make sure it doesn't shift around too much. The with a couple blankets and tie downs you can secure it pretty well so it doesn't shift.

I've done a fair bit of moving stuff now. Haven't lost anything yet. :)

Also.....maybe don't drive like you usually do on the way home. :D;)
