The innocent taco driver wasn't trying to pin the car to help the police. His transmission was searching for gears, he got distracted while trying to figure out why his truck was shifting so erratically, and he drifted into the other lane ending up in front of this car. Once he saw what was going on, he took the opportunity to file an insurance claim, saying that the guy getting chased by police caused the damage to his shitty transmission when he drove the car into the taco.
At least that's what it looks like from the video...

 

AZ is headed down that path. I used to love it here but the past 15 years have slowly made this state less tolerable to live in for me personally.

Aside from the cold state refugee's most of AZ's new population growth is from people leaving CA and moving here. Traffic is nuts, grocery stores are frequently out of stock on regular items, home prices are absolutely ridiculous. Old malls are being torn down or converted to high density housing and new high density housing is being built faster than a sand castle at the beach.

Positive for me as I'm selling and moving out of state too.

What state is worthy? NM? TX? I am not sure I tolerate KS or OK, or WY, and I do not like humidity of the SE (gotta stay clear of the "mafia" anyway).

 

Which ever floats your boat and fits your lifestyle, budget and bucket list I suppose. Some foreign countries are appealing to me.

I can relate as in my state stupidity is abound, though moving out of the area isn't an option presently for me. Just hoping I can hold out till that time.

People in general are sue happy, it seems. Plus sadly precedent keeps moving the goalposts further in the direction you mention.
