Deer hunting BS thread

in the first pic, you can see the ditch that had washed out under the dozer. That’s been cut out then a new trail cut. Just need to walk it and cut tree limbs and some roots.

Went to check cameras and one of them was on the ground a few feet from the base of the tree . Screw in bracket on the tree bent straight down . Figured I’d have good pictures of a bear . Batteries dead ,zero pictures

 

Needless to say I installed new batteries immediately

 

He hangs around with this guy...

 

Still seeing a few deer but have yet to loose an arrow. Nothing big enough in dead bang range yet.

Happy dewayne. my youngest son joined our lease. we went out and put 2 stands up last weekend for him in Good Spots. boys went out and pulled card out of the camera in front of one stand yesterday. ton of pics and 5 bucks in 6 days.i hope he gets a good one. we also moved my stand that was out of position alittle its that time of year guys

 

That last deer stands up pretty good on its hind legs.

Milk weed . When it dries out you use the inside as wind floaters to detect wind direction. You can see them float in the air for a long distance!
