I like the look of the taco better but that diesel would be a nice option.

I don't like the Hilux, I never have liked the Hilux, nor will I ever like the Hilux so as long as they continue to look the way they look. Looks like those ugly ass Isuzu trucks.

Yeah I don't get the whole Hilux rage. That whole truck just looks cheap and generic to me. I think I would rather drive a Ridgeline than that Hilux.

Looks aside, I'd buy it today because of the D4D, but since it can't be registered in the USA or Canada...

for a 1909 model, that's not too bad....

    1. take off all the chrome
    2. lose the ghey stripe
    3. level it out and bring it up 3"
    4. get rid of that huge rounded bumper maybe even swap out for some 2nd gen fenders
    5. new shoes

then maybe you have something respectable and won't be mistaken for a honda

edit: or just take the engine and put it in my truck

edit 2: "Before the purchase of this rare truck; the buyer and I must communicate over the phone first to discuss Title and Paperwork that goes with the Truck to understand all details with this purchase. "
wonder what this is all about? you must have a mailing address in Australia in order to register this vehicle?

IIRC, the reason most "foreign" vehicles cannot be registered in the states is due to the requirement for 5mph bumpers for "safety" + emissions. It kind of looks like they mounted an approved bumper to this, probably in order to get around that particular requirement.

It is perfectly legal to register *gray* cars in the US, you just have to go through all the safety and legal requirements. My guess is that you also should live in an area that does not do smog testing, as this may not pass. Probably no CA buyers want this either...

This is probably a Hilux Vigo, which I think is made in Thialand, and they make them in left hand driver versions, for exporting.
