Yeah it's the easiest mount with no drilling, might try to find a way to mount it to my OEM roof rack in the future but for now should be good enough for AOAA next month.

lol had 1 for years, now i have 3! going to grab some scrap pieces of carpet from work to dress up the tops. 1 of them i used a 2x3 i had lying around not sure how strong that will be. 30x18 i made them.

I found these remains of what looks like an unfortunate possum in my front yard this morning. They were not there last night afte dinner. I can only guess what kind of animal got it and left so little.

 

Got a plastic molded one in the garage and now that I think of how many times I was glad I had it. Not something that comes to mind until you need it. My back was happy I had it as well.
Going out to run some errands in the rain. Until later…

 

Yeah. the hood lip mount thingie definitely works at AOAA for trail use.

 

Coyote? Wild dog?

When I was a wee tad there was a dog pack running loose in our general area. My dad and a few neighbors hunted them down. I haven't heard of anything like that since then.

 

That's what I'm thinking. I have seen coyotes about 3/4 mile away where it's more wooded. Our one neighbor lets out his pit bull mix at night, but that thing is a big baby. I have foxes in my yard, but I don't think they are capable of a clean up job like that. I saw a deer on my ring camera last night, but that didn't do it. We have plenty of hawks but they don't fly at night, I think. This had to occur after 6 p.m., so there might have been a hour window. Maybe an owl? There is almost nothing left besides fur.

 

So you think.. You're ground zero for the zombie deer outbreak.....

 

Oh great , we'll at least we have Charlie zombie truck. @PennSilverTaco
