Sorry you lost a shirt but .

Of all the misadventures I have had mowing I have never ran over an article of my own clothing.

    ...on the other hand...

I'm not in the habit of disrobing whilst mowing either...
Nobody wants to see that!

The absolute worst thing I ever hit was a Welcome mat of all things.
    That one was a PITA.

If I owned a rock farm I’d be a millionaire! Just one of many that got busted up today.

Pretty much anything I wear around here is expendable, so no real loss.

I typically keep my clothes on too, but I wanted some last minute weaker sun. This time tomorrow I'll be substantially closer to the equator.

My wife likes to travel, me, I could take it or leave it. She is itching to get away, but I said no way I'm missing the Oct 1st deer opener! We leave for Costa Rica tomorrow for three weeks, we'll be back Oct 14th.

Actually it works out well. When we get back I'll scout a wee bit, by then bucks will be rubbing and scraping here, so I'll try to find one to pattern for the last 2 weeks of Oct, then we'll be in the rut, then muzzleloader, then coyotes!

:rofl:For that, I'd have to join a pruning saw forum, put it under "my build" and get absolutely roasted for using 6061 instead of 7075!

I actually have no idea what the aluminum was. :D

If the biggest issue is smell, the heat from the steam neutralizes and kills germs. I think it would be worth a try.

I think my wife has a steamer, I may sneak it out to the shop and give it a shot tomorrow.

Away another car goes.:wave: This one was inherited by my dad by an old friend before his passing. It’s off to Texas to be restored by the new owner. Was cool to watch how these trucks work and operate.

Pretty special car, it was the most expensive domestic of the day.
Glad it got a good home. :oldglory:

Notice also the Dodge Ramcharger on the front of the trailer, this is the first series 1974-80. The absence of upper door frames suggests it is a very early 1974 model, mid year they switched to using the regular pickup doors.
Although someone could have :sawzall: too.

This one was a 56. Definitely a special car. This guy really bought this one just for the original hub caps for a car he already restored but was missing them. Said he has another parts car and plans to restore this one with some parts from the other.

The ram charger was an early one. There were no cutting that we could see.
