Wow thanks for the support guys and gals and everyone else. The OP was just a rant about someone coming back and stealing the truck I realize that they would need the circuit board, they didn't get that just the shell of the old one. They can't hack my truck to steal it. They stole nothing of monetary value( just my well broken in Spyderco. Not valuable, but I liked it) didn't take my work keys or checkbook. As far as defending property I have lots of opinions, but don't think this is the place to share them

Hey it is what it is. You're suffering the consequences of others who refer to that nightmare as..... "progress."

It should be, once you add up all the dead kids that died working in mines for the 1/2 ton of toxic waste in the batteries of every Tesla.

Whether it makes a difference or not, when I'm not in my truck I leave an extra mag in the cupholder.
The floor safe in the back is left open, also with a few rounds left laying inside.
If anything, a thief will know someone close by is armed.

If it was Montana the Thieves would have been risking there life and rightfully so. That’s one thing you don’t mess with is a man’s truck or his girl and in that order :D

I’m surprised there hasn’t been a purge yet. Or another Civil war. It’s coming, I’ve been saying it for over a decade now

Yeah in Montana most don’t even lock the doors in their home. Some even leave car keys in there sun visor.

Things have changed in the bigger cities, but my Uncle lived on a lot of acres.

I used to take guns to school. Remember pulling the bolt and walking down to the principals office to show him what gun got the big one. Nobody freaked out..pretty normal. That would be an issue today.

I'm still all about safety though. My daughter has a rape whistle or two.

Come to think of it, she actually might have more guns than I do. May have to remedy that.
