Favorite Whiskey?

If you ever need one let me know. Local ABC stores currently have stock as of yesterday. It comes and goes but I see it regularly.

Speaking of possible placebo effect, a while ago my former boss shared some Kentucky Owl Saint Patrick Special Edition. I really enjoyed it, enough that I stopped at a store in his area and got one for myself.

Weeks later I cracked it with some friends excited to share something good I’d found. Fucking sucked. Unexpectedly terrible, like heavy ethanol. Gave it a month to sit and tried again, still not a fan.

Well that was about a year and a half ago. I saw it in the back of the cabinet and poured one.

I enjoyed it. Still a bite at the end but not the unbearable harshness from nose to finish. Actually a bit of sweetness.

 

I have a blantons gold and straight from the barrel that I would consider trading if anyone has any offers

 

anything else? Quit hiding the good stuff

We had a guy check-out tonight after getting out of the Navy. Finished his paperwork yesterday and had a late flight today. We gave him a late check-out and I just back back from running him to the airport. He said he left me something for our hospitality while he stayed with us. Ive never had either one.

If you want a good tequila, go for Don Abraham EXTRA anejo.

I hated drinking tequila, but that guy made me change. That's the only tequila I shelf

 

I have a Yamazaki 12 yr, blantons japanese edition (?), taylor small batch, and a bookers. but idk if i want to part with them yet.
