Looks like my truck skipped leg day. I find these really small for the size of this truck. I really want a tauneau cover too. What would you get first?

Tires will change the look of the truck 100% more than a bed cover will. Plus, you'll benefit from some all-terrain tires on there!

Do you need to lock up stuff in the bed or do you off road more?

I hardly ever use the box, but I love the look of the cover plus it'll prevent my box from filling up with snow this winter.

Tires should always be #1 if you don't spend much time off road but want a good hybrid AT/HT check out yoko's G015 been putting them on our work trucks and 0 complaints so far.

    Itz JDM tyte, yo!
Good tires first for looks and off-road performance.

I got a tonneau cover primarily for security purposes. I do like how my tonneau cover looks on my truck, but definitely not as much as bigger tires.

I’d say tonneau cover, if you need to carry something in the back because you can’t carry it up front. Then replace the tires when those get closer to wearing out.

    How old are you?

If your 35 yrs old and under you go for looks.

If your pushing your mid 40's you've lived a little and know better.

I went with the cover first. Tires=wheels=lift. At least it did for me so the cover was easier. Then followed by everything else

I did bed cover first and then tires but it all depends on how you use the truck!

Tonneau cover. Tires are never going to be big enough but a good cover is going to last the truck's lifetime

Alot of great opinions already posted. Ill just piggy back and add a little. I went cover because I wanted security and use of the bed. The OEM tires are good enough for what I need.

You could look for a used cover on local marketplace. Someone is usually offloading from a lease or changing out their build. The things takes up space so people want ir gone. For tire upgrade, you can sell your old ones to recoup some money from the purchases.

Good luck with what you choose. Let us know what you decided.

I'm 65 and vote tires, has nothing to do with looks, 100% about performance. But I'm old enough to avoid tires so big they rob performance and need modifications to the truck to make them fit.

I have no use for a tonneau cover. Put a cap on it. There is very little difference in cost, and they are a lot more useful.

I did t.cover first, as well. Though the tires were good.
Access Laredo roll up. 6yrs and still looking good.
I live in snow and salt country.
Don't want all that crap 'inside' the bed.

    Skipped leg day! Good one.

I would get the bigger tires. And that's what I did between the two choices. Went to 265/75/16. "It's better to look good, than to feel good."

Everytime I thought about getting a tonneau cover I thought about it being in the way when I go to use the bed. I would probably end up removing it and selling it for less than I paid for it.

I rarely run my tonneau cover. However, it is nice for the winter and when camping.
