Alright I'm headed up the stretch of neighborhood I've deemed to be Bear Alley due to the half dozen encounters this month alone, let's see if Smokey is on the prowl.

My wife's aunt sent us a can of bear spray via Amazon a couple days ago lol

Also found a $20 bill today inside a children's book in one of those little free libraries, we usually hit them up on our walks to the playground. Score

@Ozark_RegCab Our member John Williams really did a nice job on this Ouachita video around his GX. Us locals down here in the LIT area like to keep the Ouachitas a secret.

Then we have the Ozark Mountain schtick that brings in the most tourists. I'm closer to the Ouachitas than the Ozarks.

That's looking really smart. I think that's my favorite color on a Land Cruiser. I'd like to take a ride in that thing sometime.

He had already done that trip; he was linking tools to buy, kept questioning whether the tie rod inners were supplied (myself and many others told him they did before he even asked), and was going to talk to the manager at the shop about the job.

Last complaint was the tech he spoke to said they don't work on older vehicles.

I made it back fine. The rack is still leaking, but I've been ignoring it for now; at least it hasn't whined since I threw in the Lucas stop-leak. I'll have to get an angle grinder and torque wrench for that and the leaf springs. I don't really have a good place to do those jobs since it seems like a bit much for the apartment parking lot. I might have to wait til we go back to Tulsa and try to tackle it on Courtney's parent's driveway. But you see what I mean about the cosy/benefit of DIY when I'm looking at $500 in tools before a bolt even gets turned.
