I did not know this existed until ten minutes ago...and now wish I didn't

I used to have a co-worker who would gradual section donuts during the day. Would never take one, would never take half on one, but we're talking 1/16ing them. Drove me bananas.

I have a theory on consumption of donuts and position in the food chain at a company. We'd have management meetings at our facility for all the big wigs and they'd bring in donuts. No one would touch the donuts. They'd put them in the break room for the peons and we'd rush them like vultures.

I think that alone shows me I'll never be management. Can't make the big company decisions while chomping down on a donut, I suppose.

I personally like Donut King for donuts. There's one in Quincy and one in Weymouth. The claim is they're not affiliated but the donuts are near identical. Both old townie places, the one in Quincy lets you buy lottery tickets and play Keno I'm pretty sure. Donut King will make a giant donut cake as well that's basically a 12" diameter chocolate frosted donut. My wife got me one for Father's Day and I was in heaven. I might have given myself the beetus, but it was so worth it.

I'm not really a salty snack guy, medium salsa's too spicy, I find anything Buffalo gross (flavor, not spice) but you put a good plate of chocolate chip cookies or donuts in front of me...bring on the beetus.

One of my weekly meetings they've been bringing donuts, not sure where from but good stuff especially after a long day.

I rarely buy donuts as my wife won't eat them. Used to love that one in Weymouth as well.

Not a spice person either, mild Buffalo wings is it for me. But chocolate chip cookes..OMG yes

 

I've seen that chicken and waffle pizza before. Not sure if it's one, but Brazilian pizzas have some ridiculous toppings. Like kiwi.

Not in RI, that's an average drive. Bananas down here.

I'll tell you those reaper pickles are just at that prime heat now. I think Steph wants to maybe sell some next year

I remember having to do a road trip with pops for that place. Just remember wondering what kind of donut is worth a 3h round trip lol

 

We haven't made anymore yet unfortunately. Just been too busy, she had a golf tournament today and school during the week

Chances are the donuts are not made at that store. Locally here all the Dunkin franchises are owned by the same person(s). The have one location they make the donuts at and then bring them to all the other locations. I think that it is even a kitchen that is not in any store.

That doesn't make their donuts any better or worse but might explain why you may not smell them. My favorite donuts would be the ones that my grandmother used to make and consumed while they were still too hot to eat.

 

Yeah that's what I mean i work across from one of the donut factory bakeries, not a store.

I also work across from a store but that's not what I was getting at

 

One of my neighbors worked for Dunkin. Some items are still baked in store, but many are already baked before hand. They just frost them or add whatever toppings/coatings later.

Honey Dew started doing the same when ***** hit. The little building that baked for a couple of the locations near my work is now a CBD store.

 

For those who have had an exhaust reroute from Lou's, was there a specific location, or do they all do good work? Also, any specific tubing I should be requesting for it?

 

I think they're all pretty independently ran and results will vary
