Any dealer site I go to will not let me order parts. Is this a Sunday thing? Weekdays only? Kind of odd.

Define "won't let you." Errors? Payment issues? Are you on the general site or the parts-dot site?

What I mean by that is early on I went to the general site and they have "order parts." You fill out a form, enter the VIN and parts you want and they are supposed to get back to you. They never do.

I felt pretty dumb when I figured out the parts ordering was from a subdomain, e.g. I was on site - dot - com and the parts are actually ordered from parts - dot - site - dot com.

    It's Monday. Still a problem?

I've seen an out of date web browser create problems like this.

@rocknbil Any dealer website I went to (McGeorge, Bosch Toyota South, Lakeland Toyota) would only show me the schematics of whatever subcategory I went to. And yes, the first thing I did was put in my VIN. Generally I would get the schematic with all the parts below the picture with the prices and add to cart button. Not on Sunday. @ 6:45 am on Monday EST I went on McGeorge again and sure enough, it was back to normal. On Sunday I started trying to order around 9am and made my last attempt @ 8pm.
So the good of it is I used McGeorge and had a question. You cant call them. Have to do it on line. They responded within 2 minutes. And we got it straight. But I messed up on another part of the order and after I placed the order they caught it and immediately got in touch with me and set me straight. I like these guys. Will use them again
    Thanks
    John

The new site search is garbage. Doesn’t select parts by VIN anymore. I couldn’t even find Spark Plug Wires, search turned up nothing. Stupid catalog has them listed as, “Cord Wire, Resistive”

I have 5 various 1st gens, and I haven’t worked on any of them because of the horrible new parts system. It’s been like this for awhile now.

I bought some OEM parts online yesterday from my local dealer (whose discount is more or less as good as anyone online, and I can pick up the parts at the counter). No issues ordering. In fact, I ordered last week too, again with no issues.
