    Giants have a good defense but niners offense was just better and time wore them out. Virtually no running game made for a long night. Purdy will need to improve identifying the hot receiver against blitz and rush packages. He did well but there’s room for improvement and I think he can make it. When it starts to slow down for him the league will be in real trouble.

    Yeah, the strategy doesn’t make much sense. You don’t have either the time or the picks to build around an aging qb. They need those picks now. You might do that for a team that’s already close like the Jets or even the Niners but the choice can go sideways quickly. It worked for the Rams and Stafford but he’s still young and Wilson isn’t.

    They must have thought they were closer than they are. They had a stout D and 2 good WR. I think Wilson is past his prime and they paid him prime money. They are stuck now.

    As a Cards fan they have sucked for such a long time and our owner is an idiot. They are doing better than I thought they would. I hope Murray can come back and light it up. We are lacking in the WR department though.

    Went to the Packer game today. They won but don’t look to good. Probably would have lost if not for Carr getting injured.
