engine beans are the same but gearing can help spin the tires making the load a little easier to handle. Considering he is on 37’s with stock gears and a manual (I’m sure the clutch drops and what not don’t help). For reference same case on my truck and maybe a couple hundred pounds more weight without any issues (yet).

like I said, some guys are running these with one tons and 40” tires but pretty low gearing (5.29’s).

Sprayed the Corrosion Free jizz under the 4Runner today. Took only half an hour at the CT in the hood.

 

Anyone know an alignment shop familiar with SPC control arms? I know I had a hard time finding one 3 years ago, Now my buddy just got a set and is looking for a shop that knows how to set them up.

Extended the rear diff breather on the 4Runner. Routed the breather hose along the fuel filler pipe, leaving slack at the front for axle droop:



I don't have a good two-way breather on hand, so I made a loop with about 12" of hose and ziptied it to the fuel filler pipe running up inside the quarter panel. Will add a Uni Filter when it arrives.

Not that anyone was wondering but the energy suspension poly bushings that come in the kit for the stock upper control arm fit into the Bilstein 6112 lower bushing. A little bit of Shaving.. but the fuckers fit. I will take some pics of it installed tomorrow. Also Metal Tech ttx lower ball joints are beefy. That is all.
