    It’s not that Dak is bad, he’s just another decent qb that looks good when they win and bad when they lose. Trey has yet to prove he can do even that. He couldn’t step in during his rookie season the way Brock did getting immediately sidelined and went down again after a weak start last year. He needs time in a lesser league like Warner as this one will chew him up and spit him out.

    Agreed. I just don't get the Lance Hype. The kid played in what, 19 college games? Then he goes out with an injury and has only 4 starts as a Pro going into his third season.

    Fans have zero patience with anything less than a Suoer Bowl win and somebody has to be the fall guy. Jimmy was it so Lance was designated savior without ever earning it. Jimmy isn’t great and Kyle had to feel he put a ceiling over the team similar but with different flaws to other QB’s like Carr, Prescott, Cousins, that have played well enough to get close but still fall short. A lot has to go right to get a Lombardi but fans couldn’t care less. Gotta blame somebody.

    Whereas I’m just being a smart ass. We all saw the same frustration from 49er fans around Jimmy’s play. I do think many QB’s are good enough to win but need more breaks to go their way for it to happen and any one of them is capable of having a career day on the right day. The owner, front office, scouts, head coach and the staff he assembles have to all get it right and then pray the football gods don’t rob them of their best players or cheat them with bad calls. It’s still early and last year SF went pretty far even with players dropping like flies from day 1. Fortunately most nfl players have more confidence than fans and way more than talking heads. It’s all just entertainment.
