Hey Connecticut, our backs hurt

What a dreary day.

 

Worst part is the GW Bridge. There's ways to bypass it and not go through it, at least going down from where I am up here in Brookfield. If you can find a way around it from where you are, that'd probably be better. Otherwise, be ready to get stuck in traffic trying to get across it. Aside from that it's not all that bad.

 

I'm on the coast and I still avoid that bridge. I take the Tappan Zee, it's a little more of a drive but worth it.

 

Definitely. I go that way as well. There are a few different ways to get down there and not go through the GW. It's technically longer, but ends up being "quicker" in the end because you're not wasting time stuck in traffic.

 

My method worked well. Fly in

 

287 to the tap was always the easier and faster move unless you were in the city already, and even then...

 

One day I was heading home from Lexus training (Parsippany, NJ) and didn't have traffic until I hit the GW. It cleared up again until I hit the CT state line.

 

I have a massive hole in my heart. Ended up having to say goodbye to by best friend, the bestest boy, Bear. His health has deteriorated the past couple months, but we have done our best to keep him comfortable. Unfortunately, his time came today, he was having a tough time breathing, and we couldn’t let him suffer. He would have been 12 this October. Cant put into words how perfect of a dog he was, and how much he meant to me, and my family.

 

That is a beautiful dog and I send positive thoughts your way. Saying good bye to a pet and let alone a pet like that, rather a family member, is the worst. Sometimes you just get that perfect dog!!!

 

Sorry to hear always tough losing a furry family member, at least he's at peace now.
