Part of me thinks it looks silly with the short bed, the other part of me thinks it looks chunky and full with the short bed and the factory tires there.

Both parts of me hate the snorkel though. I also don't think that color will age well, but it looks good now. Next model year when it is rolling around on SR's and Pro owners whine about losing their exclusive color will be the real test IMO.

Stupid seat, stupid color, baby slider and a god awful C pillar. I can't decide what I hate most.

I don't mind the way short beds look.....even on the 24......it's just that the kiddie bed is nearly useless in a day to day capacity for me personally.

Toyoya should build the Pro with the isodynamic seats on the two seater XC platform.

I can't recall seeing a crew cab trophy truck anyway, I'm sure one exists somewhere but most of the Baja Toyotas was Xtra Cabs.

Random question, did you find that Xtracab on a Google search do you know the owner? I ask because I used to know who owned that specific truck. I haven’t talked to him in years actually, I should message him.

    Small world.

OK? There’s literally like 1” of legroom in that photo.

Accommodating the shock absorbers in the front seats eats rear seat leg room that’s already tight. The rear side window has been shortened, so the rear passenger’s side view is partially blocked by the C pillar, not unlike my FJ Cruiser was in the back seat. Budget ran out for tacky red trim on the rear doors.

So much of this truck’s design (aesthetic & practical) is compromised by platform sharing with a bunch of SUVs.

The side profile looks very similar to my Pyrite Mica truck except with black flares.
    The snorkel is stupid.

That pillar by the rear seat headrests is weird. If you zoom in you can see it’s two pieces. It looks like they kept the pillar size of the old trucks and then they added another 3-4” of pillar near the glass. Why?

The seat is all the way back. Not many people drive that way

The more I see that C pillar, the more I hate it. Very Nissan thing to do there Toyota. Looks incredibly cheap and just plain ugly.

People in the back gotta lean forward to see out the windows lol.

How do you know the seat is all the way back? Either way I’m pretty sure if I put my seat all the way back I have more than 1” of legroom.

You're correct, but there is no denying that those fancy seats are gonna eat up precious leg real estate that was already at a premium. I look forward to seeing the seat swapping threads pop up once an owner with no kids has a life changing event during ownership resulting in some choices to be made lol.

Of course it will eat up rear room, but that’s why we have options. I don’t “look forward” to AC owners discussing trading in their trucks when their kids are born, but ymmv

It is a prototype. They’ll fix it in production. Or after the first year or two.

More than just a kid problem. You can’t even put a bag of groceries on the floor behind the seats. It’s nonsense.
