It it just me or does that seems crazy close, uncomfortably so, the parking job, although you have my respect, that’s a hell of an impressive spacial awareness you or the other driver have.

 

Merely a guess, but I wonder if after he put his hands out the window he was ordered to come out of the vehicle that way. Would make sense being that he was known to have been armed, but not sure.

 

He chose to stick both hands out the window instead of opening the door first.
Had he reached back in to open the door the police may have thought he was coming out shooting.
More fun watching him do his gymnastics and stick the landing.
