    Good morning all!

Several of you offered some very nice compliments on my mural photos and so now that the event is wrapping up and I've submitted all of mine for scoring, as promised, here are the links to my Smugmug pages so you may browse all 1,000+ photos at your leisure.

    https://charlessnyder.smugmug.com/GLMC-GT23/

    https://charlessnyder.smugmug.com/GLMTC-GT23-June-7-on/

    https://charlessnyder.smugmug.com/GLMC-GT23-Final-Push/

For details on the locations, when you click on an individual photo to make it full sized there are a column of icons to the left of the photo, the next to the bottom icon is a comments icon and if you open that you will see where I've entered the city and state. The third icon down is a letter i inside a circle and that is the information icon where the GPS data location is available. Most photos will have pretty accurate GPS data available. Early photos before I got the hang of it I sometimes didn't give my camera sufficient time to reset and find where it was but I later figured it out.

    Gary: Welcome to the porch.

I actually added it to my Calander so I would not forget. ;) I will need to eat healthy the day before and after the visit. :D

Doing retirement, the correct way. Enjoyed the pics. We visited New Mexico 8 summers ago.

Good morning. Rained again last night. Might rain again in the late AM today. I doubt that my lawn company will aerate and overseed tomorrow. On a positive note, the rain is just what my renovated lawn needed, it has been a lighter rain and not a downpour with some sunshine.

I will return to look at the gallery of pics later on this morning. Out of curiosity is one of the requirements of the contest to have your mode of transportation in the picture? I did glance at the first link. Off to the gym.

Correct, your bike and rally placard showing your rider number must be in each photo and legible. Murals had to be minimum of 100 yards apart. You were to ride there not push the bike from one to the next. If not for the 100 yard rule I could easily have had even more murals. In some locations I could easily see 4 or 5 murals from one spot.

    Happy Retirement!
I retired in May and there's nothing like it.
First 2-3 weeks it felt like vacation before the reality set in.
Then initially it felt like I had to do "something" at work.
Now, my job and place of employment for the last 40 years is in the rearview mirror and fading away fast.

A little something every chance we get.
:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! Well, 'tis true, we did not get a drop this past weekend, so it's water the pots, and do the yard. Still going to be upper 90's all week. Cripes! Enough already!

Woke up to have my phone semi-locked this morning. Only a bizarre selection of buttons would work, and that did not include the power selection to reboot it. Had to look up how to get the case off, and see about removing the battery! Disassemble the guts? Sheesh, when that battery goes, I will get a different phone! Fortunately, pulling the SIM card while it was running demanded a restart, and that did the trick. Now, I will have to pair all those Bluetooth devices again - like my hearing aids!

    What day is this?

Thanks for posting the pictures Chick. Appreciate seeing them. Glad your friend wasn't seriously hurt .

As always Kurt, great pictures

Great way to plan a trip Chuck. The internet is a great place to find a lot of off the beaten path places to visit :D

At this point in life the most trouble I get into is telling the Missus she doesn't know what she is doing...and the fight starts

RIP for your friend Carl :(. Our upstate neighbor never talked about his time in Nam except to a fellow Veteran. When he passed his wife found his medals. 2 purple hearts 2 bronze stars the Vietnam ribbon and he was on Hburger hill as well as a tunnel rat because of his size. He never talked to family about his time there either. May your friend Rest in Peace Carl :oldglory:

Congratulations on retirement. Every day is a Saturdays now :D:fistbump:

Saw this today. It looked like aircraft riveting. I could not get a view of the hood ornament before it turned off.
