As for my weekend...was mostly lazy, but went to the San Clemente Cars and Coffee they always host every weekend on Saturday morning. Ride there and back was uneventful, with some traffic, but the cars at the show made it all worth it. pic dump incoming. Please excuse the sub-par iPhone photos.

Managed to take apart that little air compressor last night. Tricky thing to get into. Thought the battery cells might be dead, but each cell showed 4 volts, out of the harness it was only producing 2 volts.
After metering it out for a bit I discovered the negative side wasn't doing it's job, so I added the black jumper to bypass whatever circuit had failed. And it worked. Still charges to full capacity and the compressor does it's thing. Hoping it doesn't catch fire or explode under the seat of the bike. :p

Two new cells were almost the cost of the entire compressor, had it too long to return for another.
The piston is some kind of plastic.

Edit: Just used it to inflate my truck tire from 25 to 35psi, to test the battery, and the fucker seized at 28psi. Battery is fine.
I think I'll just carry the handpump, it really doesn't take any longer to inflate a tire and it just works.

Wrangled the stock exhaust onto the Versys. I had to buy some hardware and remove and reinstall the center stand but it's back on. I still need to take it on a test ride but it's so much quieter on startup now. I'm hoping throttle response will be better as well.

Easily one of the best looking OEM exhausts.

I've driven the PCH but I think on a bike I'd be in climate control hell.

It would be chilly and randomly roaring hot. I guess thats what layers are for and just pull over and take your time.

I really got to make it a point to meet you out there one of these days. You’re probably the closest moto member to me. My new work schedule had pretty much all but made my free time disappear.

I’m in SFV, just off the 210. I’ll hit you up one of these weekends when I can get off my ass and get on the bike. Haven’t had fish tacos in a while.
