Good morning all.

Heard a new phrase yesterday at therapy: “No is a complete sentence.” I like it. I get asked to do something I really don’t want to do, the answer is now just a “No”. No need for an excuse.

in VA your permit comes up when they run your plate. i always give them the permit with my drivers liscense. they have always said thank you for that even though they already know. i support and understand the dangers of their job.just my way of making the interaction more relaxed.only been stopped once in last 30 yrs. but you go through DUI/ Liscense road blocks from time to time

 

That's really a good idea. Just in the last few years AZ digitized our cdl to come up when they run the plates, not sure if the ccw comes up or not. It would, at least, mentally prepare them for the contact. I'll have to ask our LE Rangers if they know.

Any ideas???
2nd gen JBL touchscreen
Took my radio out to install a tech deck. Took before pictures of the wiring harness. Go to plug everything back in and I have an extra male plug. I have one empty receptacle but it was empty and this plug doesn't fit it. Lost my satellite feed and the satellite app from the head unit so I figure it has to do with that. I have felt up inside the dash and cannot find another receptacle.
Meanwhile my back is now in spasms and I'm sitting on the ice pack.
Any ideas on what this plug goes to or if it was extra, how to get my satellite radio back? I tried having a reactivation signal sent. Figure I'll try here first and then go post out on another thread.









Edit- so my wife gets home looks at it for 30 seconds and says is it supposed to plug in here? DOH!! it's the clock plug.
Still haven't gotten satellite back. Damn electronics

 

yup carry laws are so different in each state. our reciprocity laws are very generous to accept a long list of states including Arizona

Tennessee is a pretty good place for CC, not perfect. But we can travel to a lot of states without issue. Unfortunately Washington is no longer one of them. I used to have a FL non-res permit to fix that, but they're no longer accepted either, so I let it expire.
