I'm betting some of your parts end up in my neck of the woods. We have a fair number of wind farms in between here (Abilene) & Lubbock.

Not quite, turbine engines for aircraft or IGT (industrial gas turbine), most of the parts we deal with are combustion stage, getting thermal barrier coatings and the sort. Some parts we work on go into GE90 engines for example, but I probably can't say which parts.

It's a neat job, but I think my time here is about up due to money and managerial issues.

 

I've had to kill a copperhead myself recently, shot it dead then smashed the head. A little violent yes but it's from growing up with violent video games just kidding, but the neighbors have two little ones and a dog that wander their own and my properties, so adios anklebiter.

 

I've told yawl a little about my coworker in the past....his motorcycle was stolen out of his yard Saturday night.

He told me yesterday they stole it on Saturday night because the Greensboro police department is closed on Sundays

I said they have almost if not more murders than Atlanta this year, they never close.

I just ask him what his insurance company told him (about if it's covered for theft)............he hasn't called them yet

 

Are you fucking kidding me?? The PD for a C I T Y closes on Sundays. Not a small town or something, a whole ass city. It's a good thing I tend to stay in HKY, not as bad here
