They're an odd flavor profile. Like they can fuck right off in a salad but in a spicy Reuben they're pretty okay

One thing I find fucking hilarious are when people have issues cutting steel

"It's acting like it doesn't have a ground and not cutting all the way through the steel"

    The steel -

A lot of times I prefer the taste they leave behind rather than actually eating them, so I'll ask for pepperoncinis on a sandwich or pizza then pick them off lol. Weird I know

I should just find some pepperoncini juice

This is why I mostly used and prefer oxy/ace torch when I was at the machine shop. Wasn't worth the time to clean up whatever the cust brought us to fix just to cut it with electrons.

That's actually a better use of them I think. I'd pay extra to have a pizza place bake em on there and then pick them off for me before delivering to the table.

Yeah that's not a bad idea. I'm the same way with jalepenos, love the flavor but eating slices of them loaded up on something is just way too much. So I'll get a jalapeño bagel or kaiser roll and take them off

I like jalapenos much more actually, they have good flavor with their heat. Had a fried one the other night from a Mexican place, thing damn near blew my head off. Hadn't had a jalapeno that wasn't weak in a long time.

I told ya I already had more experience with oxyfuel at the first shop I worked at right? They had me cut that big ass +3' circle out of 3/8" steel and yeah it was dirty as hell.

Oxyfuel is so nice for that.

But like my buddy and I discussed out here, the "sign" market is saturated AF cause COVID really messed with people and got them all wanting to work from home, sell shit on Etsy, and become social media influencers.

These same people bought 3d printers, laser engravers, and even cnc plasma tables with having no mechanical aptitude or experience with tools/metal working whatsoever :bananadead:

Sign market you say? I'm not a huge laser cut sign kinda guy but I love looking for old automotive signs at antique places.

You're talking old school, rustic, raised lettering type signs that were actually cool

The category of people I'm referring to are those all sharing the same Etsy files they purchased (or traced) and selling them off in bunches which don't get me wrong...does net them some quick cash

But many just expect the table to be "printing money" with as little human input as possible

"I need an electronics expert, I just got my table.." was the last request for help

Another was freaking out because his torch height controller had spade terminals and wanted to know why his plasma cutter didn't have spade outputs for connecting said wires

I sometimes wonder if you have two personalities and morning you is always dealing with the bullshit of evening you. Like evening you thought it was good to use the rusty shit and morning you is like "dude, flap wheel it you moron".

That was from a thread in another forum where people were complaining that they couldn't cut said steel, so I posted those pics here

ADHD definitely plays a role though

Here's my dirty steel from yesterday, all I did was wipe it with acetone

    20230925_182444.jpg

    Cold-rolled rusts faster too
