An indent in the arm?! I must have missed that. Perhaps look for a nice thistle bush or cactus instead next time?

This is nuts to me because either that guy has horrendous luck or those bikes are way too fucking heavy. I crash my bike daily and don't break anything. That was the most innocent slow speed crash. I think part of the issue it seemed was his leg landing lower than where his body landed too it seems with the raised edges of that bridge. Maybe I don't want a T7 now. :p

Anyone here ever run Dunlop Trailmax Mission tires?
Looking for 50/50 tires for next season.

    I think @03dumdum loves them.

Have you seen the new Dunlop Trailmax Raid tires?
I have been using Shinko 805s. But will be switching to Motoz when the time comes

I looked into the Shinkos, those are popular on the Versys forum. As well as Michelin Anakee, Continental, Mitas EO-7.
I think I like the look of the Trailmax Raid better, thanks for pointing that out.

That's an Africa Twin, but Travis has had a rough year. The bad luck bit is pretty dead on.

I've been running the rear for about two years now, I think, and just spooned on the front a couple months ago. I'd put them more 70/30 or 60/40 on road biased than a true 50/50. I have zero complaints though. Good wet weather handling, good mileage, quiet at speed. I have another rear waiting to go on.

The Raids are new as of this spring. Might be hard to get.

Ill be putting a Motoz Tractionator Adventure on my rear next spring. Supposedly can get 10-12k and then flip the tire on the wheel and get some more life.

I have the Motoz Tractionator GPS on my front now. I put it on after my trip to Maine. A better look at both:

Im also finding the GPS is kinda loud. Not sure what's going on with it. Pressure is correct.

Revzilla has them in stock. I'll have to see if a 110/80-19 will fit in place of the stock 100/90-19.
Not doing this until close to spring anyway, might even get a better price during the cold months.

I almost wonder if maybe his leg got caught in one of those channels as the bike was tipping, causing the bike to lever on his shin bone leading to the fracture

otherwise, the only other explanation I could imagine is bad luck lol. Wild break from such a slow and mild crash.

Yup, and he said that was with a Tech 7 boot on as well. Makes me kinda think anything shy of a full motocross boot is a waste of money, and because I'm not willing to wear those I might as well just be comfortable with regular boots. Those A-stars did jack and shit for his leg.

Is it a full MX boot? I thought it was a step down. Hell, it that's the case that leg was doomed.

This isn't necessarily motorcycle specific but garage related and also Toyota truck related so thought I'd just post here.

I wanted a way to remove and store the pickup cap for my truck so I could transport motorcycles as well so I made a DIY storage solution. I do have the Grom parked underneath but hopefully it doesn't all come crashing down. :anonymous:

Right, I know that, but I thought they were all just below a true motocross boot. I have never dug deep, so I don't know crap (obviously), but I thought the MX boots were more rigid. Similar to a ski boot.
