Tough place to be for sure. Continuing to sell and take deposits when you know you cannot provide is bad too no matter how well-intentioned you started out.

Somewhere in there they should have realized a change was needed in pricing and/or payment timing... and properly account for deposit money and work in progress.

If only they would have had a good management accountant. :p

    yikes.

Yeah GFC figured it out when they found themselves almost doing that. So it is possible. They scaled appropriately.

The people I got my bumper from asked for half up front and half when it was. Seems fair enough to me if you're organized, which Warfab is not.

They got banned and the threads locked like a year ago.

There's a thread on expo portal about it, and I've seen some stuff on IG.

That is the core problem isn't it. They couldn't afford a good one so uncle Larry took on the role.

It's pretty simple when you are self employed, you get paid last not first. Can see how a bunch of money coming in for the first time could be deceiving to those who haven't experienced it before though, easy trap to fall into

Brown? I haven't caught on before, good looking fish!

It was a ton of fun where we were. Harkens back to the SOS trip location wise.

Yeah brown. That's the predominant species here. Have rainbows too. Gold's if you know where to look. Cuts in some areas too. Brookies too I guess. Most I catch at browns.

I have to cross the border to get into the big browns here. Big city means lots of pressure on our local waters, it's why it's worth the longer drive to find the unmolested waters I do each fall. Never caught a brookie either but want to. Not sure they are this far south. Around here is all rainbows, and where I went is mostly cuties, some rainbows in the fast pockets, and the ever present whitefish. I was shocked to catch a small mouth up there, river seems too swift even for them but I found him hiding in a slow pool. After I got home and thought about it, I guess it's not too crazy as the state record small mouth come from a reservoir that feeds the main river down stream. Gold trout are a sub species of cuties yeah? Don't know off hand what they are.

    Interesting.

I have a lot of great fishing in my county. Something I do not take advantage of enough. Need to. Brookies are in Wyoming a lot. The Big horns have those and Cuts mainly. Browns eat the Rainbows so they aren't as common here now sadly.

Cuts are my fav though in the Big horns. Never big fish but aggressive and fun.

I saw thw bass! That was wild.

Gold are native to California. Some people like to transplant them in various bodies of water back in the day. So a few lakes around here have them apparently. I just haven't hiked the 8 miles in to get one because...why haha

Cuts are a blast. Never give up but certainly don't fight as angry as say a pike. Those fuckers are nasty angry when hooked. The cuts, no matter the size are fun. I caught big ones and small ones all weekend and each one a treat. I guess I should plan a trip back to the big horns to fish!

Ok, looked up golds and they seem similar to cuts based on color. Probably a special treat to catch something unique way up in the mountains but also fuck those people for diluting the natural watersheds.

Yeah they are a blast. Super fun to catch. I did shell river once and probably caught 50-60 fish between me and a friends dad. kept 2 per person to eat in a hobo meals and man, delicious.

Yeah they did that back in the 50s and shit I guess? No idea.

Oh right I forgot you did that!

    Devin's been there, but I haven't.

well everyone, ive really out done myself with idiotic ideas. I've made the most ridiculous decisions of my life thus far, and in 1 month will be driving to florida (again) with my gf to live/cruise on a 40' sailboat that i bought. I didnt sell the house or anything like that...so ill be renting my room out and working part time remotely for the 6 months we do this, then come back to jackson for 6 months, and repeat. This isnt a rash decision, ive been planning this one for years...just finally pulled the trigger essentially on my 30th birthday. Despite kind of knowing what im doing, i have absolutely no clue wtf im doing. The count down begins!
