    RecklessTaco's birthday is on the 24 of March. Let's celebrate it with him by hitting the sand in Ocotillo Wells. It's simply a day trip so you don't have to pack for overnight unless you plan to stay.

    UPDATE 3/9/12: This is for all that are coming out for this.! There are some of us heading out friday afternoon to campout out there and have some night run fun. So if you think you'd be interested in camping out with us let me or Matt know.

    Bring whatever you can to make the day more enjoyable and memorable and be prepared for some trailing. Make sure to bring water!

    We plan to hit up a few different areas;
    We can take the main wash to mess around at Devil's Slide and Shell Reef, play around a bit at the Airport, hit Split Mountain Road to Splitfish Road and Sandstone Canyon to check it out . Maybe we can see the Wind Caves while we're in the area- I never have! I've also heard that they recently opened a new section of Ocotillo Wells called Ocotillo Wells North that includes Truck Haven trail. Not sure about it, but it's an option. Suggestions are definitely welcome to fill up the day.

    Edit: Meet time will be 7:30 at the Julian gas station leading to Banner Grade. Roll out is 8:00.
