Ok, so my hood says it’s open all the time and I can’t figure out how to fix it, I tried cutting the wires and putting them together so it just thinks it’s closed all the time, but that didn’t work, does anyone know where the wires go to under the dash? Or how to just unwire the latch all together?

Did you try leaving the two wires you cut unhooked. If it’s a normally closed switch when you shut the hood it will open the circuit. I don’t know if it’s a normally open or closed switch.

Not sure, I’ll have to try that next, but right now it’s not even hooked up to the sensor and sometimes it thinks it’s closed and sometimes it thinks it’s open, if I can just figure out where the wires go I’ll just run new ones
