A friend of mine could not get a conceal carry in CA. He also had his explosives license for fireworks. So not sure how that logic worked out

Too great a threat to be “ multifunctional “?

My favorite late-in-the-day coffee is Jameson, Baileys, Kaluha, and coffee. Great hot or iced!

Sounds like a ski resort bartender came up with that, sounds tasty. Used to work in a ski resort years ago, alcohol was almost considered medicinal. I worked making snow in the middle of the night, we had fun.:D

Ok, so I have this Rhino-Rack system on my truck topper[cap] where you have permanently mounted bases with dust covers when the crossbar towers are not installed.:

    305ca8a7-616e-441d-899f-6a7550d1488f.jpg

This is what it looks like in use:

    images.jpg

You can buy the base mounts with dust covers & hardware for $35-$40 online. I lost one and can't find a replacement so I contacted the company directly. They said I could buy 2 for $19 delivered. WTF is with companies online these day? That makes no sense given the price for a total package. This seems to be a common theme in truck aftermarket stuff. You get locked into a brand because nothing is universal fit and when you need a replacement part that should be $5 they drag you over the coals for twice that- end rant.

    $10x2=$20
    $19 seems fair :notsure:
have you tried ebay? see if anyone is in the same situation you are and had to buy two to replace one and they're trying to sell the extra?

Good news is she had basic same procedure, she just wasn't a dickhead.

I'm very pro LEO & many of them in my area have me do work for them. Build them guns, trigger work & so on. This particular guy was not a fan.

There are 4 pieces plus hardware. 4 bases and 4 dust caps. Entire pack is $35-40 depending where you look. That makes 2 bases with 2 dust caps $17.50 (I only need the dust covers)

It's just the principle of it too- these manufacturers are crazy with replacement parts.

This.... going to class they drill in to you the dangers of pulling the trigger, so I doubt anyone who has a CC permit is someone to worry about with a gun. It's all the un-permitted folks or those with nefarious intentions they should be worried about.
