    I was in a serious time crunch this week to get these icons and Camburgs rebuilt for a friend wheeling trip this weekend. Made the best use of my lunch break today. Finished them up in the bed of my truck.

    @eon_blue

    Lady Gaga finally molted :angrygirl:

    20230927_194611.jpg

    Explains why I hadn't seen her in a few days and why she's been trying to strike whenever I gave her water :bananadead:

    (Don't mind the dark discoloration, it's just wet from being soaked so I could lay it out flat)

    That and my heart was racing as I heard her strike hard like a MFer when I tried to carefully remove her molt

    She's the only damn thing that scares me in this lifetime

    This was just after her last molt, which was in August of last year

    20220905_201649.jpg

    So she went damn near 14 months before molting again

    The AMG is a brute force type of event. The mini felt raw and delicate so I get what you mean. Speed is fun but there's something more visceral about driving a mini in the canyons.

    Sadly this weekend is currently booked for me.

    In other news I got up close to my 4runner project. Seems like a decent starter. 156k miles, 4x4, center diff lock, V6 truck. Need RMS done and it is PUKING. I think the sway bar bushings are shot since it makes some noises in the front suspension. But those should be easy fixes. Only difference I see from a first gen is having to drop the exhaust. Needs a thorough cleaning but I think we can make this work.

    Paint is wrecked on the hood, roof and door so need to figure that out. Once cleaned up should be able to flip for a couple grand pretty easy. Bought for only $5.5k.

    Yeah, you can control it directly. It can't fix the thing being very power hungry but it can make it more enjoyable to drive still. I think if you're only going to have the supercharger as a power adder the manual will net you a more fun rig. If you're gonna go higher power then you could really turn it into a missile with a tuned auto.

    I've been working on making an all in one trans control harness for an 02 taco, takes a few extra components but I guess we will see what it's good for probably after this winter.

    Your truck has been on hold so long they came out with another SC and turbo builds are damn near common haha. Maybe if you keep saying you'll get around to it they'll have released a TRD nitrous fogger too hahah
