    I thought the tires for my Peugeot 505 Silver Edition were unobtainium enough! Michelin only maker, $250 each, in 80s… (some metric size). Had to be special ordered.

    I run Continental DWS on the BWM; they are almost always in stock so that isn't a problem

    But get this:
    the tires have a 30K warranty - i used to think tire warranties were a fucking joke till . . . .
    the first time i destroyed a set in 15K and the tire place gave me 1/2 off the new set b/c i didn't get the warranty amount of miles. . . .
    fucking awesome!
    done it like 5x now! no one bats an eye!
    kill tires, pay 1/2 price for new ones
    can't beat that!!
