1st Gen Lunchtable Thread - General Discussion

Man, so it's always been an educated guess as to whether my monocentropus balfouri was male or female, but it's assumed based on hard evidence

The signs that pointed to it being a female are; 1. It is 4 years old as I've had it since 2020 (but was born in 2019) 2. Males live 3-4 years and by then have tibial hooks or balbous palps which I didn't see after its last molt and 3. Only females grow to be over 5"

From last years molt to the one I retrieved yesterday, it gained an inch in legspan going from 4.25" to just over 5.25"



This means she's over 5.5" (closer to 6" most likely)

Worst case would be I have the oldest and largest male m.balfouri ever

Speaking of fried, I got some fried chicken from the grocery store for lunch today and it sucked. Poorly cooked fried chicken is a sad affair

 

It really is, I go one of the little spicy fried chicken wraps from Jack in the Box yesterday and was like damn... yall even cook this?

Normally Kroger's around here have some fire fried chicken. Better than any of the chain places, anyways

 

I just ate taco bell for my first meal of the day so I feel qualified to talk about this

 

yup that's where I got it from, well Ralph's which is our version of Kroger or owned by them at least. Normally it's pretty good but I think it all depends on who cooked it.

The Ralph's near our house has a way better bakery than the one near my work, same things taste way different from each.

 

Not sure how I feel about the handbrake/stick shift chastity combination
