Thanks to @jandrews got my hands on the C923. Had a small pour with a little piece of ice, in summary, it’s delicious. Past the wave of heat, it’s oaky chocolaty caramel with a little citrus something.

I haven’t had the C923 but I had a C922 on hand so thought I’d have a pour. Good, unique.

 

Went by TW today searching for the C923…still nothing, but i did see Woodford Masters available. And that goes with a few other bottles that I’ve seen on here on the east coast, but about two months later. So…I’m guessing the C923 will be available to me in late October, November.

Also….the TW Grand Reserve Bourbon draw was today……….waiting on my email to see if I was selected for anything!

 

it’s crazy how I like to chase the cool bottles, but EC BP is such a no brained as far as taste/value.

 

Working in Utah this week and larceny bp and ecbp are abundant, but they aren’t the current batches.
Picked up a High West Bourye to try out though.

 

In the state-controlled market of NC I’ve never even seen an EC BP, picked this C922 up on a business trip to Sacramento, CA.

I may go for a bourbon hunt today locally and see what I can(‘t) find.

The last 3 years of Heaven Hill BP releases have been clockwork here, and available on the shelf at that.

 

Way too many, and more arriving daily. It’s starting to remind me of Atlanta with less to see and do.

Unsuccessful bourbon hunt today, just some JD Sinatra Select that’s been sitting on the shelf at $179 for weeks. Work trip coming up may produce better results.
