Very nice rig. My wife and I have an Escapod TOPO we take out frequently. We should plan a trip out together. Winter is our favorite time to camp in AZ. I wonder if others here have similar rigs?

Anyone know a guy Running these? I recall another member in AZ, BLKDC. Think his name is Tyler? Id like to stick with my Bilstein but not sure if the bypass will rub the side wall. Sitting with a 4.75 backspace should help, I'll pass on spacers.

We looked at the Escapod early on - they are awesome. I basically wanted a shell, since we had solar, electric and frig from our tent camp setup. Hiker would build it out and terminate all electric in a fuse panel. That was the sell to me. It's basically a sleeping box, all the kitchen comes out, the galley is primarily storage.

Someone else here posted a small rig, I just don't remember who

We have a shitty Encore RV 12RK. It’s actually not bad, just had a shitty time with customer service. It’s definitely not an off-road camper as they advertised but it’s still way better than a tent. I’m in the process of replacing the fridge that failed during our last trip and adding more solar panels.

Looks good to me, man. Will it do gravel roads? That’ll get to most of the spots my wife and I visit on the Rim, Whites, or Coronado NF. I’m open to hitting someone else’s spot as well. Same suggestion: we should get the trailers out for a camp. There’s three of us now. Any others with trailers?

@Maxx I see you have the weboost, I know @TailHook has one, and has had mildly good experience, any experience on the N. Rim? Good or bad? Would you purchase again? Main use case?

I'm looking at it for additional coverage for my wife, she is a fully remote programmer, and that would allow use a little more outdoor time.

Buy another battery first. Can't trust those battery testers. Put a battery charger on it or a jumpstarter. If it starts you know the issue.

Would I buy it again? Yes. Some places we camp have zero signal on our phones but the Weboost gives us just enough to check cameras at home, send texts and do some basic stuff. Can you do Zoom and Teams calls over 5G in the middle of nowhere for work? Not in that situation.
Driving around town and civilization, I have full signal most of the time. It’s not cheap but it is worth for me considering how much everything relies on cellular these days.

The camper does fine on forest roads and such. It’s just not as well made as I was hoping and requires a lot of maintenance. Everything is held together by self tapping screws like most average campers.
The big advantage though is we can just drop it and go explore in the truck, or get to bed quickly after a long day of driving.

Stuff that costs more than my wife thinks.
Wrapping a bow on huge projects and process changes at work the day that I get to put up the ol' Auto Replies - man it feels good. These have been about 6 months coming now.

September has been insane, gents. Almost time to unwind. :rasta:
