Oh wow, yeah. Very similar. Mine might be a touch more aggressive sounding in the knocky way, but hey. I’ll accept it. Thanks for that!

On a lighter note: If you do decide to sell your truck, make sure you sell it to someone that's 100's or 1,000's of miles away from you: Don't sell it local or in any state that's not at least 2-3 away from you: Because if you do sell it local, it's going to put you in a foul, depressed, insane mood every time you see it, and hear it, for the next 15 years or 250,000 miles (whichever comes first) if it still sounds the same!

You really don't want to see the guy you sold it to giving you a big wave and smile (or even worse: a "thumbs-up") every time he spots you driving by, or jeeze-louise, pulls up next to you in the [insert-name-of-local-big-grocery-or-home-improvement-chainstore HERE] parking lot... That would be bad.
    :annoyed: ;)

This is the best post I’ve seen today lol. Noted! I’m keeping her! Until the axels fall off.. and even then, I’ll put them back on!

Been looking everywhere for a response or video like this. This is exactly what mine does as well and comes from the exact same place you pointed out in the video. Didn't notice it until about 3 weeks after I bought the truck and thought that it was rod knock as well. I'm relieved to find this thanks for sharing.

Thanks ! I'm now near 242 000 Km so over the 150 000 miles mark. The sound is still the same than 3 ish year ago when i bought the truck. Scary sound at first but damn these a great engine and with a tune it's another level. I have some cellphone video i took when i inspected the truck the first time. It was sitting in a lot for maybe 2-3 month at the end of the winter. The sound was bad, so bad that i skipped the truck and started looking for another. After a week i saw that video i posted, It was exactly like that but the road test truck was louder than that and when i say louder it was audible in the cab at idle. But the truck drove fine and was clean cut so i gave it another go, did a full inspection, bought it and well 27 000 km later i can say i'm glad i had this video recommended, the first time, i walked away from this truck for "nothing". Still sound like shit when very cold but it's a great engine.
