We had several neighbors who kept telling us to take our then CanAm Maverick Sport Max DPS 1000R down there, but we were 30 minutes from 5 mile south of Cedar Fork, and my wife was in a practice at Primary Children's. After every long vacation weekend they would get 2-3 kids brained from dumb-assed accidents at Sand Hollow. We sold the Maverick at a year old in 2020 with 50 miles on it for more than we paid for it decked out from Tooele Valley Motorsports. Turns out we were in the right place in time and Covid had all but stopped their CanAm supplies, so they were ripping people off on the prices for the inventory/stock they still had. We knew the owner, and he said people were getting into bidding wars. I listed ours for $2,000 over what we paid and an older couple showed up with a trailer in just under an hour with cash. While they were picking it up I was getting calls asking me to keep it for them. Crazy times. When we got down here we drove to Valdosta and bought a 2021 CanAm Defender HD10 Limited with a lift kit, full cab (heat and air), wench, 33" tires and wheels, and a clutch kit. After almost 2 years it has 29 miles on it. All we do with it is drive our property, throw a large sprayer in the bed, tend the Orchard, and the garden.

 

I'm pretty sure BMW and Audi drivers live in a persistent state of "pissed off." How dare us mortals drive on their private highways, not going 25 mph over, or get upset when their entitled kids cause fatal accidents and walk away with seldom a Judicial slap. At one point I had a White 84 Lotus Esprit Turbo, and in town I drove it like a Grandma around other cars. When I got up into the canyon on Hwy 24 going west out of Colorado Springs I turned into Han Solo and made the Kessel (Divide) run in 20 parsecs.

 

I have successfully pissed off 1 bmw drivers one day in Salt Lake City. He couldn’t compete with my noise. He definitely tried. I have people passing me on the freeway wanting me to make some noise sometimes. My truck is semi famous. I used to have TikTok but I don’t have anything now that it’s on besides here

 

What is BAT’s commission on a vehicle sale?

Awesome build. I just wanted to ask you what type of bell housing and input shaft did you use??

 

I just found the bell housing on eBay. It’s just a aftermarket part. The input shaft if from a 1993 Toyota pickup with 3.0l it’s just 2” shorter to make the bell housing work
