Got rid of my 2022 Ford Maverick today while the getting was good.
Had a host of issues over the last month at 11 months and 8800 easy miles, no less. Yeah. Loose exterior trim pieces rattling, rust in the wheel wells showing up, electrical gremlins galore (frozen backup camera, chimes, alarms, dings at random times), whatever the weird felt/fabric/cardboard material is that Ford uses to 'protect' the undercarriage in certain areas starting to fall off...etc. Just a general lack of confidence in how the vehicle drove overall. Not to mention having to listen to the whine and clatter of that Ecoboost. Fords gonna Ford, I guess.
Still had good equity as I ordered with a dealer doing $3k off MSRP and was happy to be able to roll that into a 2018 SR5 4x2 with just over 37,000 on the odometer.
Drove a 2020 SR5 and a 2020 TRD Off Road, but the 2018 was much better cared for, and I like having the cd player vs. having apple carplay. With navigation and bluetooth connectivity, everything I would use with carplay is covered anyway.
    Glad to be here!

It’s a shame that Maverick was so unreliable. I think they’re pretty cool in concept. Like the old Ford Courier. Welcome to the forum.
