    ALL,
I just got new TRD Sport 2023 and after a few days noted that front bumper not aligned with fenders and hood fully off on the front end. Got back to dealer they have a look and said can not do any adjustments. They even said its a "normal". I would believe them however this is my second 3rd generation Tacoma and I also had 2nd and 1st..none of these had similar issue. When I got this one from dealer did not even think off to look at all body lines as assume its a brand new nothing wrong should be with a body...So now I am on my own with this...Dealer not willing to do anything and suggested to take it a body shop--- brand new truck! Also, they said all them having this issue. I know for sure that not all them however wanted to show you guys in case you can suggest some.
See below hood front end passenger side and driver's side to compare. Also bumber with fenders...left and right connection gap is uneven... ..is this looking normal as dealer said??

My 22 hood was like that. I believe some have had the hood replaced but not I. I mentioned it on the first service, they adjusted the hood, I think they raised that corner. It isn’t perfect but a little better.

As far as the bumper goes, I’ve had my bumper offa few times so if it’s a little off, which it is, I have to take responsibility for it. Take a look at some of the YouTube videos on the front bumper removal, the sides are held on by pressing them into another piece of plastic which is replaceable, I plan on replacing it one of these days.

I’m a Volvo guy, the Volvo service department is significantly more diligent. The AC doesn’t do well on hot days in traffic, I was told that they checked it out and the AC is working as designed. There’s a recall that adds an electric fan, it covers 16-18…..then 18-21….but not 22 or 23 yet even though they’re exactly the same . Since there are no 100* days left, I have to wait until next year to start complaining again.

My 2016 and 2022 truck has the exact bumper gap issue on the passenger side since brand new. I've seen it on many other 3rd gens as well. I've tried to fix it myself by removing the bumper and aligning, but it didn't work. I actually bought new bumper rails (where the bumper clips onto) to see if it will fix it, but haven't tried yet.

My 17 TRD Sport the rear bumper, bed and hood were so far outta wack, I bought the truck with 15,000 miles on it, I was for sure it had been in a bad accident. Thank goodness for TacomaWorld, I was able to discover that for Tacoma's that's all normal. I adjusted some of the imperfections, I chopped some of them off and I just ignore the rest. "The shaft is bent and the rear end leaks, you can fixer fast with some oil an a rag, use a nail to start her I lost the key, don't pay any attention to that whirling sound, she uses a little oil but outside that, she's cherry."

Gentlemen, measure your cracks and report back. We need to get a baseline on the situation.

My hood gaps are decent but there's always something off on these trucks. My 2018, same thing.

If you look hard enough you will 100% find something. Bed, doors, bumpers etc.

I don't think I have ever seen a perfectly straight bed. Something is always slightly off.

I saw one at the dealer that had the most crooked bed I have ever seen. In relation to the rear window the bed had to have been an inch lower on the driver's side. Don't look because many are like this, and it will drive you nuts. They are never perfectly parallel to the rear window. Hard to tell if you have a tonneau cover but with a bare bed, its east to tell.
