I haven't have an issue with people saying they have a hard time hearing me but then again I do talk a bit louder than most folks.

I didn't even remove my A pillar. I just stuffed it against the headliner and A pillar then used a plastic trim removal tool and pushed the wire into the headliner and pillar. It's been that way for over a month now and hasn't fallen out.

I did not do this all all today, but recently welded up some rock sliders purchased through XO Fab. Also installed a 2wd low mod.

Well ordered a K&N Cold Air intake for my Taco since I liked just the K&N Drop in filter results with the OTT tune so much. So this should be an even bigger improvement and I canceled my S&B cold air intake order. I thought it was in stock and after 10 days and 3 days it saying preparing to ship I called the dealer and they said there waiting for a reply from S&B shipping notification so at this point I said cancel it. My K&N should be here Sunday so depending what time it arrives it’s going on :fingerscrossed::thumbsup:

The issue I had when installing my stiffeners was the small diameter washers used with the bolts at the rear of the holes. A lot of stress over a small area. I plan on making lengthy backing plates i. e. straps connecting the bolts to spread the stress over a large area.

Installed a knock off Pro grille with the smoked LED amber lights I found on Amazon. Quality seems good. Plastic is finished well and thickness is consistent. A few burrs at the seams from the mold that needed to be sanded, but no biggie. Came with sensor plate and relocation of the TSS sensor was fairly straight forward. Always liked the look of the Pro grilles better. Toyota should just make it standard on all TRD models. Did the same grille replacement on my 2018 T4R OR. I knew before I even bought the Taco that this would be the first modification. Next is to replace the shift knob with something custom. Just need to find a finishing trim piece for the shift boot. The knobs I've found and like, are all for other Toyota products that don't have the boot trim clip.
BTW, just took delivery several weeks ago.

If it's like my quarter panel TRD OR sticker, believe me when I say it's not going anywhere anytime soon.

It took a lot of work to get that thing off, and even then I had to use a 3M wheel to get the residue off.

Unless it's already coming off for some reason, I wouldn't worry about it.

I bought a knock off vintage grill/garnish too (Not from Amazon) and later, bought smoked amber raptor lights from a member here who did not install.

No issues with TSS with regards to DRCC & LDA...I'm on my second set of raptor lights since moisture caused one the lights to lose color.

As for the gear shifter knob, I went OEM and got the leather one.

Got some Michelins, less aggressive but quieter. The Nitto’s I had were bad in wet weather and a little loud.

I was moving cross-country, needed a quick build desk. Later needed to finish the surface so decided to reinforce the quick-build.

These are not quick-builds. I do not make a liviing at it, but can build to need ... rough or fine.

People who have the mic just above the driver's side visor will often install the Enfig mic in the overhead center console as the space is still there. You just need a little foam and tape to hold it in place.

Good to hear. I purchased these knob for my 4Runner. Got em' from HouseOspeed/Hot Rod Shift Knobs. Looking for something similar, but if I go with this, the shift boot with the trim piece is gonna look out of place just sitting there under the knob.

Accomplished Firn's accumulator delete mod with his brass disk and had the truck tuned with OTT.

At first, I didn't think I needed the ADM or the tune as I was just happy with how the drove and performed from the factory. However, I can say that the ADM is definitely worth the $25 or $30 I sent Firn and the few hours it took me to accomplish the mod. On occasion, the truck would "buck" when shifting between first and second and that's no longer a problem. Additionally, because the fluid is no longer interrupted, the clutch acts like a clutch. I can see why Toyota would put an accumulator on the slave cylinder as it definitely makes the truck easier to drive for people who don't normally drive a manual. But, for those who have been rowing their own for years, you'll definitely appreciate the ADM regardless of how you accomplish it.

I had the truck tuned in Denver this morning with OTT at medium and was able to experience it on the way back home. Upon leaving the parking lot, I fed the truck the normal amount of throttle and immediately shot out into the road which took both myself and the wife by surprise. I've noticed a slight bump in power and I'm able to stay one gear lower to maintain my normal cruising RPM. There was a definite drop in MPG as I was averaging about 20 on the way to Denver and 18 on the way back home--but I expect this. The primary purpose for the tune was to get the alternator output changed to keep the AGM battery at it's happy voltage of about 14.4. However, I think the tuner must not have heard me as the truck is still reporting an output voltage of 13.8V. So... I might need to make another trip to Denver in the near future to get that corrected.

All-in-all, I'm pleasantly surprised with both of the mods. The ADM is a no-brainer at how little it costs and how easy it is to do. The tune, while expensive, breathes new life into an almost 2-year-old truck and makes it feel like a different vehicle. I can honestly recommend both after you've had some time to get used to the way the factory set the truck up initially.
