What are those sliders made out of? Same or different as the blue ones?

I was thinking that could be a good material too. One of the guys I chat with online said the aluminum AGM ones shredded his threads.

Interesting. Haven’t heard that and know a lot of race teams run them.

Seen them using them on the Isenhouer's truck too, Idk if they always have perfect condition shocks and this creates an apples to oranges comparision. He had to chase the threads on his SAW's.

They haven’t ran SAWs in a very long time, pretty sure they have been on Fox’s since they sold the ranger and built the F150

I’ve been running the AGM sliders for a few years with no issues. They have a sleeve / liner inside the aluminum. The advantage of the AGM slider is the length and the stiffness so it does not get twisted like the oe ones

you sure ? previously they did have two different sliders one was a two piece construction and softer which is the stock one that deforms / twists really bad and the other they called the pro slider which was one piece machined delrin

No I’m talking about my friend’s saws. He runs his truck hard though. Without getting a pro sponsor I’m thinking new bodies every couple seasons may affect things. I like the idea of the aluminum ones - at this point I’d rather wait and look for another delrin style alternative. I’d make some if I had a lathe…

Shock angle may also cause more wear on some than others as well.

The AGM is not aluminum on the inside it has an internal delrin sleeve.

I ran the regular King and the Pro King and even with the stiffer pro you could see that it sat twisted vs parallel with the shock body. I have found that the longer ones like the AGM do not deflect and rub the shock body as bad

Wonder if even delrin is hard enough to trap and push dirt into the threads on the shock body then. Interesting.
