The San Rafael Swell is a favorite of mine, I've ridden it many times on my dirtbikes, 5 Miles Of Hell, Waterfall Trail, Eve Conover/Eagle Canyon. Although I've been through it in a vehicle this is the first time I've explored it in the Tacoma. Not as exciting as the MC and it takes longer but sitting in the AC, wearing some shades while sipping a cool beverage is like watching a 4K wide screen video from the couch. Maximum scenery, perfect for an old desert rat like me.

    Here's Reds Canyon.

It's been dry out there and the dust was always present, on a MC in these places you don't deal with dust unless you're behind someone. In the truck every time you slow down for a rut the 1/2 mile long dust cloud that's following catches up and you re-emerge out of it like ghost as soon as you accelerate.

We spent 5 days on the trip, 1800mi, 300 of it on dirt. Zero trail drama and the Tacoma performed perfectly. I was able to get some nice drone video I'll be putting together in a trip report.

Kentucky. Land between the lakes national forest. This is an absolutely primo camping spot. It's also nice enough for group camping. You can even bring your car right up to the water.

I’m very sorry for your loss. It’s not easy losing your father. I know. Thank you for sharing.

That looks like a real Beautiful Place! Go there and feel the energy he felt. It can help with the healing as well…

    All the best

For what it is worth. I just lost mine. And I just went to some places I knew he loved.

losing a parent is hard on so many levels. I wish you healing and want you to know, somewhere, there is someone experiencing the exact same thing. Not to take away from you… but to remind you that you are not alone.

Amazing site and beautiful colors to honor your dad and connect with him! It’s amazing how healing special locations can be in times like this. I’m sorry for your loss, there’s no words that anyone can say to ease the pain we feel in loss…

    Awesome shot -- epic lighting!

Is that a diesel parking heater? I've been meaning to install one for years... how is it for sleeping?

Great shots, can't get enough Utah.

Here's some more I just got off the camera from last week's trip:

Other reefs probably have better snorkeling, but this one is the most ... Capitol?

How about ... "Let's see your Taco's shadow in scenic places?"

Sorry, hard to fit very much of Utah in a gif...

Already posted this one on another thread, but it's really cool, so here it is again -- camped near Escalante, happened to see a rocket launch at dusk, originating from Vandenberg some 600 miles away:

Finally, forgive the lack of Tacos, and another repost, but here are some favorite Utah night shots:

    ... next up is Colorado!
