Installed some RCI rocksliders yesterday and gave her a wash today.

I think the truck really has to be tuned for any potential gain. The OTT tune was amazing by itself so any other increase I look at like a gift.
Yes they do sound good which was my main objective since I’m very happy with the power level as is. Borla’s are a nice well made exhaust I ran them on my SVT supercharged Cobra with a Bassani X pipe and it was deafening but man sounded wicked like a nascar.

I've had these sitting in the shed since August, finally got around to installing them. Love the new sound. Definitely an upgrade over the stock speakers. :thumbsup:20231001_142822.jpg

IMG_0103.jpgThat’s good to hear, been thinking about getting the OTT tune. This was my trip the other day all stock on the interstate doing 75.

Installed 1320 bed stiffeners from eBay. I have a GFC Topper, so figured why not for peace of mind. I had total chaos stiffeners on a previous tacoma, but these go to the top of the bed and are low profile for a lower price, so I rolled the dice. Install was smooth/as expected, although I snapped the top screw on the driver's side. Got it out, so all good. Lots of tie down spots too, which is overkill for my needs, but you never know.

Nice! Decent mileage is just icing on the cake. Smooth throttle, crisp shifting and no more gear hunting is the real win with OTT.

You ever just have one of those days?

Started out today by ordering a new Sony XAV-9500ES from Trail Grid Pro

Then installed the Tuffskinz Tacoma stickers on my glove box

Then I installed the Guild Outfitters power outlet

    Moments before disaster.

Unfortunately moments after the above picture I knocked my Samsung S23 Ultra off the seat and it landed on the concrete damaging the screen.

Oh well, I'll keep going and install my demon brackets and d rings I got it

After I get everything done, go to the grocery store, lol flat tire. Get the spare on.

My normal repair stop wasn't open today so I went to American Tire, was told they can't patch it because its 7 years old, 30k miles on it.

Didn't have any tires in stock so they will have to order them. Really wasn't planning on spending another $1k today after purchasing the radio this morning *sigh*

Had a busy day but was able to clean up the stiffeners and they’re ready for treatment.
Might get some of that POR-15

    uhhhh....dog fur?
Finally installed a pile of stuff that had been sitting, waiting...
Taco garage DMM and also stealth power port (seriously, removing the cigarette lighter port has been the hardest f'ing thing I have had to do on this truck).
Installed vleds interior footwell kit, front and rear sets
And hopefully chased down an electrical gremlin by redoing everything I had done in June

Just came back from a weekend in Big Bear! Wife wanted to camp one more time before the baby comes so we made it happen haha. Originally was supposed to go to Mammoth but changed plans to Big Bear due to rain in the forecast. It still rained so I'm glad we brought the canopy-- was able to set up dry. First stop was SkyPark and then we moved to Serrano Campground the next day. We hit Big Pine Flat trail on the way after linking up with another buddy of mine.
I have to say, with the baby on the way my Softopper and Toppertent set up (though convenient) is not as practical anymore trying to get in and out with the wife being pregnant let alone the rain. Might have to sell the setup with my bed platform and switch to a bed rack with RTT hahah; of course a ground tent would do the trick too but you know
